Million Meter Row-a-thon

Mike Quaglia is an athlete who has Parkinson’s, and through hard work has achieved 5th place in the neuro division of the CrossFit games in 2020 through his hard work.

Welcome, and join us for our third year participating in the Million Meter Row-a-thon. We participate in this every year to help raise awareness to something near and dear to our hearts, which is the benefit that high intensity exercise has on delaying symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Studies have proven over and over again that participating in high intensity and endurance exercises produce a hormone that can halt the progression of Parkinson’s and even help to grow new neural pathways. You can read more about the study at https://neurosciencenews.com/irisin-parkinsons-21395/?fbclid=IwAR0alhb5xO1s6_Nqu9vzdIcYFPw9IUQAYa3dnRvO3llF-1n5XnV7VUcc_0k

If you would like to participate in the row with us and help us reach our million meter goal, stop in to reserve your time slot and rower at our front desk. If you would like to donate to the cause you can donate to Team Fox for Parkinson’s research
